Thanks guys. I feel a lot better. :)
I can't tell you how upset I was at the two of you 'fighting'.

anyway how about a question...
This will tell me a lot about you, and anyone else who answers... and it will help me with my quest for my collection and trading...

you're on a desert island. You can only have one dead show with you. which is it?

although it may not necessarily be the "best" show ever (subjective concept anyways), i would have to go with 09/18/87 - my favorite and most emotionally affecting Morning Dew ever!! Just a "grate" second set all round - so many essential shows, but i don't think i could live without that second set if i could only bring one.

Nice choice! I was at this run! didn't make it this nite, but was there for both 9-19 and 9-20! The garden was THE place for seeing a show! You stepped outside to complete craziness on all levels! I have the 18th and 20th , but still need 9-19-87. Anyone got a nice copy and want to trade with me...CDR?

Yes, you are right--makes me think there is more to post 71 than I thought. Dew is indeed excellent, and I already have turned a few onto Watchtower and they love it.

Thanks again.

I would have to say it was the show with the balloons... hopefully someone can ID it. Meadowlands or JFK? Sun had just set and they went from space into Baba O'reilly... That was one of the coolest concerts I ever attended... It was 91 or 92 and it was in the summer time, that's all I know. I looked for it here but couldn't find it. Anyone have any ideas?

only like 1 or 2 times it wasnt the encore but never out of space.... they started covering baba in may 1992 until nov 1994 with most being out door gigs....

Cool... Maybe it was just an extended intro. I had shitty seats and was seeing colors seperated into the different wavelengths at the time but I specifially remember the rush in the crowd when they realized the seemingly chaotic ambient sounds had morphed into the Who cover and the crowd went nuts. I'll search for it becuase it is worth hearing again. Thanks for the info!

I would splice 10-13-68 & 9-19-70 to make one complete show (ie, DS from 70, not 68, etc). Cheating? Sorry.

nice choice William Tell, and i will borrow your idea, and come close to your suggestion and choose 10/12/68 (both shows are brilliant but the jam out of Drums wins over 10/12), and splice in the JG+MS show from The Lions Share, 1/19/72! Happy, happy solitude on my desert isle.
